This series of works began as small automatic drawings (“thought feathers” to borrow Louise Bourgeois) and were initially disregarded, thought of as simply doodles amidst textual notes. They were later transferred to a sketchbook — approximately 350 drawings collected together as a visual ‘well’, a marker in time. From the sketchbook, the origin drawings were developed into painted works.
